It's not something I have thought of doing.

I am always on the look out for inspiration and often buy Scrapping Mags. I have a subscription to what I consider the best of the UK ones and I have to say it is getting a little monotonous.

So I took the opportunity to get some mags in France, Le Scrapping is taking off over there now, though mostly online supplies as there are very few bricks and mortar stores yet.

The mags have really inspired me in a couple of cases, others are so like ours. So what are the different ones, well ...

My favorite LSS (Carolina Memories) closed their doors on Jan 31st. I got an email that she was having one last sale...everything left was 70% off. I debated and debated and finally decided to take a ride up there (it's about 1.5 hour drive). There wasn't a lot left but I got some good deals on many things. I got things that I normally wouldn't have bought for myself because they were too expensive in my eyes. It was a treat to be able to get such great deals, but sad to see the store close. ...

many people who want to digital scrap at some point want to put a pick from the internet into their work... be it a clipping of a coffee cup on you day to day page, or images of an amusement park in yur vacation page, just cause u didnt have quite the right photo in ur collectio... well if the image u download is copyrighted, u may feel guilty about taking it. i have seen alot of "stolen" images out there. you may think that if it is for your own presonal use it is ok... well why not ...

I spent some time in my scrapbook room organizing and 'making it mine'. I had a good time going through all my goodies and arranging, etc.

I got some of those command hooks that have the wire hooks that move. They worked great on the bottom of this shelf as they hang down to hold scissors, etc I was really surprised at how easy it was to add this bit of storage space and it makes so much more accessible than in a drawer somewhere. I'm hoping this system will help me keep track of my ...

Shadow Box of Military Ribbons

This is something I've put together for my Mom and thought I'd share for anyone who might be interested in this sort of thing. But first a few comments...

There are a couple of ribbons missing so I was originally going to get replacements and transfer everything to a new board. Eventually I decided to simply leave it as it was.

1:8 scale Police Box

Here's on of mine I've been working on for quite awhile now. And it's finally almost finished. It's a British Police Box. In truth it's a Tardis from Doctor Who, specifically it's a 60s/80s hybrid but that probably would only matter to a Doctor Who fan.

Total height so far is just about 13 inchces tall. And here it is...

Name Frame

Here is the frame that I designed for my sister & hubby. I bought a 6X12 frame at WM to put it in. It is all done in text boxes in word so I could do different sizes with the letters and off set them. Lisa Bearnson had something similar on her blog.

I have the word file...if anyone wants the template & has a 6 letter last name, it would be easy to change the name & year. I'll be happy to email it to you. It's a quick & inexpensive present!

I am lucky to have Paint Shop Pro and Adobe Photoshop to play with for Digi work. It depends entirely what I am planning as to which one I use.

I use PSP for photo work. Sharpening, taking out the odd feature I don't want and resizing. I also use it to make blinkies as it has an animation add on which I find quite easy to use.

Photoshop I use for Digi LOs. Again I find it easier to use for that, partly because I did the BP classes.
