| I am always on the look out for inspiration and often buy Scrapping Mags. I have a subscription to what I consider the best of the UK ones and I have to say it is getting a little monotonous.
So I took the opportunity to get some mags in France, Le Scrapping is taking off over there now, though mostly online supplies as there are very few bricks and mortar stores yet.
The mags have really inspired me in a couple of cases, others are so like ours. So what are the different ones, well they are the ones that use the odd French produced items, there are just a couple of firms that only supply France, Switzerland and Belgium but will ship to the rest of Europe. They tend to specialize in templates, either LO ones or those similar to HOTP one for swirls, aplhas etc.
It was the templates that interested me. Some can be found at http://www.toga-le-site.com/toga_produits.php?lg=03&idcat=2&idsscat=3. The most interesting ones for me can be seen at http://scrapafond.canalblog.com/ . I have plans to use some of the ideas, without getting the templates, so watch out for them.
I also got hold of the latest copy of Creating Keepsakes today and there are so many ideas in that as well. I can see me changing my subscription when it runs out.
I would love to know what mags you read, buy, beg or borrow! _________________

| Glad you liked them, they are really different aren't they.
I read and understand French Marianne, I get by speaking it when we go but I just don't get enough practice to be as good as I would llike. My Gran ran a school in France just after WW2 and, as she brought me up, she decided to teach me when I was very young. I will always thank her for that. _________________

| Oops, I forgot to answer the magazine question.
I let all my subscriptions run out. Creating Keepsakes seemed to be getting thinner and thinner and filled with more advertisements. Plus I just wasn't reading them as much. I did get Simple Scrapbooks & Scrapbooks Etc and I really enjoyed them. _________________
