Here's a pic of one of my albums that had been sitting on my bookcase. This is the same bookcase that I had been talking about getting my book shelves expanded...the shelves are about 8" deep now, and I want to have them at least 14" deep. You can definitely tell the part that has been hanging off that side. I had no idea that it was getting so much sun. I'm not sure if it makes a difference, but they are Pioneer albums.



I bought some We R Memory Keeper albums in pink to replace these. I'm also going to replace Alyssa's albums too. Here's are going to be lilac.

Oh my gosh, I had no idea it would turn THAT much!!! WOW! I hate that you had to replace them!

That sun is so powerful, it is surprising just what it catches too. I even had a sheet of cardstock on my desk which is right by the window. In 3 days you could see where the scissors had been lying on top.

Wow that is amazing... floressant light will do that too... I felt a project at a store I was teaching at and I went back a week later and you could see where I had laid the pages on top of one and other partially overlapping! YIKES.... I guess we should be carefull to keep our albums out of the light.

Actually, they sell paper like that. I think dh had gotten some at a museum. You lay a leaf or whatever on the paper and it makes its "shadow" on the paper. I think it just takes a couple hours...but if you had the time, you could use sb paper
